Chrome / Chromium / Canary and they look decent with the new Material design.

But if you're poor and can't afford more than 2GB of RAM then stick with Firecucks.

Then you won't get a incognito icon which sucks

Pale Moon or Seamonkey.

FF has gone to chromeshit, so did Opera, Chrome is chromeshit, and Edge is unusable garbage, so is Windows 10. Good browsers are going extinct.
>>
Opera has the best look
>>
/g/'s thought on Vivaldi?

Apart from the bad performance when multiple tabs are open, everything else looks decent to it.

Just use what the fuck you want but if you really must know, Firefox is the best.

What if I'm fine with firefucks?
Is that okay?
>>

Firefox has the most configurability with about:config and extensions. Because of that, I feel most secure with it. I can see that insecure encryption is turned off, etc. I also prefer the way FF handles lots of tabs. The only other browser I've really ever considered seriously was chrome, but I got frustrated with tab overflow and some other stuff.

please let that fucking browser die already.

I think Firefox Nightly/Developer Edition and Chromium are the best options right now. Firefox is slower and often freezes if you browse things or change tabs really fast while having multiple tabs open. Chromium is faster but consumes a little bit more of RAM, and some claim it's spyware (it's open source, by the way, so if there's spyware anyone could look at it and report it).

Here are some resource stats:
Firefox Nightly - 4 tabs
0-1% CPU usage while static
Up to 10% CPU usage when switching tabs
Up to 15% CPU when loading new pages.
303,6 MB RAM used.

Chromium - 4 tabs
0-1,5% CPU usage while static
Up to 6% CPU usage when switching tabs
Up to 20% CPU usage when loading new pages.
479,5 MB RAM used.

So Firefox is lighter in terms of RAM, but more or less equal to Chromium in terms of CPU usage.

>it's open source, by the way, so if there's spyware anyone could look at it and report it
which is exactly what people did:

>>
>>54297654
It's good to have people who actually look for these things to stop Google from trying to spy on their users.
The fact that it's open source alone should prevent Google from trying to sneak spyware in Chrome since anyone can find out.
If anyone doesn't trust Google you can always use Iridium, which supposedly fixes lots of privacy issues.

I understand the hate towards Firefox's slowness, but why the hate towards Chrome and Opera (which is basically Chrome)? Is it the spyware, the resource hogging or do you not like how it looks?
>>
Firefox will always be superior.
>>
>>54297817
I think 4 gigs should be enough to run 3 tabs on Nightly. It's not a lot, but just enough.

Chrome- data mining ram hog run by sandal wearing hipster Black Lives Matters donators.

Firefox- buggy and run by SJW faggots.

Opera- makes you look like a pleb if you use it.

Edge- God Tier once they get adblock.
>>
>>54291846
The best browser is which ever one is the least ass to you. You're better off using them all and finding out which one you prefer the most than asking random opinions.

On average, most people like variations of Firefox and Chrome, though.
>>
>>54298815
>Edge- God Tier once they get adblock.
If they get adblock in 5 years, it'll be as on schedule as they were with tabs.
>>
>>54299864
and if they get it next month, it will be ahead of that schedule. Whats your fucking point weebfag?
>>
>>54298815
>Edge
Edge seems like it COULD be really good but it's just not there. Not feature rich enough, still slower and less compatible than the competitors, etc. Also it requires windows 10 which is a deal breaker for me. I do generally like the UI design though.
>>
Thoughts on Iridium? It seems like chromium but not shit.
>>
>>54297817
If you're on Windows, K-Meleon is a good shot. It managed to improve browsing speeds even when the IT department was spending all their time shitting in the street and on our software. Doesn't seem to crash at all either.

I have complete confidence in a company that is consistently late to deliver features.
>>
I've been trying Opera for a while. It's basically Chrome without Google. Loving it so far.
>>
>>54300555
it's a RAM hog though. I like the youtube picture in picture feature, tab preview, and a lot of little shit.
>>
>>54298066
Yes, for about year. It's alright performance wise, looks acceptable, and has some interesting things going on (night mode was nice). However most features are bloaty (like the game center thing) and it really lacks in extensions. Also chinese botnet, and I had stability issues with the gnu/linux version.
