why are pcs so difficult to build?

LEGOS
>>
It's as easy as riding a bike after you get over your nerves from the first time.
>>
They aren't, unless you're clinically retarded or are a female
>>
>>54271477
It's literally just lego pieces. As long as you make sure the pieces fit together, it works.
>>
>>54271515
Actually you'd be surprised how clever females in certain countries can be.

>Gf disassembled her laptop to clean it piece by piece then put it back together
>>
It's like anal, just don't force it.
>>
>>54271515
Why so bitter permavirgin?
>>
It's literally fool proof these days.

You. Couldn't fuck something up if you even tried.

Because you're a dog wearing boxing gloves.

It's easier than riding a bike. I can't ride bikes.

>remove video card
>forget there is a plastic clip holding it to the motherboard
>"why isn't it coming loose?"
>pull with full force
>entire plastic surrounding the pci-e slot comes off, connectors broken or bended
>have to replace motherboard
>>
>>54273192
Why would you just apply force? Have you never thought to carefully identify why it's not coming loose?
>>
>>54271525
>in certain countries
Read as "literally anywhere but America"
>>
>>54271477
They're not difficult to build. Build my 1st one in December and it took awhile but nothing completely stumped me.

Everything plugs in one place only one way so there's only a few places where you can actually fuck up. If you need help, here's a video from 2011 thats only 8 minutes and covers nearly the entire building process, got me into it way back when

Honestly the only hard part is getting the thermal paste right, I spent like 2 hours getting my 212 evo in place and was very ocd about the paste being right with how much I was sliding the fucking cooler around trying to get it into place.

tip to people who game on laptops...if you're having heat issues you should open that fucker up and check how the paste was applied. I bought a lenovo for school and was getting constant stuttering in game like after 5-10 min. I opened it up and there was just a single glob on the cpu, about 50% of the surface area was just the bare metal. I applied that shit correctly and dropped 20 degrees C and no more stuttering.

Not everyone can get an electronic engineering degree.
>>
>>54273935
Considering there's no such thing as electronic engineering, yes. Did you mean electrical or computer engineering
>>
>>54273906
If you do stock cooler and Intel its just pushing in the 4 corners so most first-timers dont even have to deal with thermal paste
>>
>>54271525

Get a prebuilt pc. They're better and cheaper.
>>
>>54273155
I've seen plenty of people leave the plastic on the base of CPU coolers.
Also people plug video out into the mobo instead of the gpu a lot.

dude, even people who end up with a monstrosity held together with dice, rubberbands, and cellotape still ended up with a functional machine
it's nigh on impossible to fuck it up (everything comes with manuals, you have internet access, everything is self-configuring and only fits in one place, etc)
