I love your set up though. You should just upgrade the GPU, unless you really want a laptop.
I, for a long time, used my Dell XPS 14 (L421x) as a main machine. It currently only has an Intel i5 (ivy bridge U series), 8GB of RAM, and integrated graphics. It made for a pretty decent every-day machine, on Linux. I even often used it with with my Dell U2711, and it did fine with integrated graphics. Currently I have it running Windows 10. I'm considering buying the Dell MKS14. It's a monitor stand, with laptop charger built in for the XPS line. It has HDMI inputs to go to the monitor, which I don't use. Kind of an interesting set up, but, I use the actual dock-segment of the stand for my PC, and just use the integrated charger for the laptop, with VERY rare occasion using my laptop to the main screen instead of my PC.
