I've had this for a while, it will start bending after a while, mine has some flex. I've had it for about 3-4 years now though.
And yeah it's very short in terms of width. I'm considering replacing it now, not because it's bad, but just because I have too much shit on my desk and I can't fit it all.

I'd start by where you don't need to spend money to improve:
- Arrange your monitors toward the apex of the desk. That portion of your desk is what makes it so attractive, it's clearly made for a multi-monitor setup. At least put one monitor against the shorter side of the desk.
- Zip-tie your wires, they make everything feel cluttered in an otherwise organized space
- Move that light from behind the monitor, it causes eye-strain when you look at it for a long time, and it makes the lighting look terrible
- Take the speakers off your desk. You don't have the space for them without a monitor arm.
- Pull the desk out from the wall slightly. Since you have so many shelves, you can't push the monitors further back. It adds to that claustrophobic feel, and you can ease that feeling by giving yourself more workspace.
- Right monitor should go in the center, portrait should go on the right, left monitor can be separated from both and off to the left if you'd like.
- Move your shelves! They're too low and too close to the wall. Center them (move them more to the right) and lift them.
Where you can spend money:
- Buy a curtain-rod and some more uniform looking curtains. A dark brown or brownish/burgundy would look good. Either that, or buy wood-slat blinds.
- A monitor arm would lift your monitors and give you a lot more desk space to work with. It makes a big difference when you're in a cramped space, and would give you a space to put your speakers.
- Replacing some of your monitors would obviously make a big difference, but it might be more money than you want to spend. Preferably, you'd buy your monitors at the same time, you want them to be the same model, or at least share the same dimensions/resolution.
- Your lighting is terrible. I'd buy a cheap light fixture and some warm CFLs.
Obviously there are more places to spend money, but those are the cheapest recommendations I could make. Obviously cleaning up would help as well. Make it feel less cramped.
