Don't bother, it's like a shittier gentoo without any of the advantages.

If you want source and pakage control at a higher level than debian (even considering apt-build) use gentoo
If gentoo is too 'bloat' use Slackware
If you're really in a self-harming mood, try LFS.

I only use a dozen or so packages, half of which I build from source to make use of some patches I put together. I stopped distro-hopping, and eventually settled on Debian and OpenBSD for daily use. I only have wifi on my computer and wifi-menu makes the install very easy for me, other distros with a similar feature are way worse to install (gentoo, funtoo) or require hoops to get it to work in a minimal system (usually needing ethernet to set it up first).

That's why I use arch and not debian. If I installed debian I would have riced it exactly the same and it would take the same amount of time. I just don't like preinstalled DEs personally. I get to set everything the way I want to, and I like that.

I'm a NEET so half a day is not a big deal to me. If I wasn't doing that I'd just be practicing japanese reading or shit posting here.

I use proprietary nvidia drivers on my desktop, because I play any game that I can on Arch, and I only use the passthrough for games that need it. The only nonfree packages on my Arch install are Nvidia drivers, steam, and games. The way I see it, this allows me to use less user subjugating software overall. If I could play games well with libre drivers I would. But for now my x200 is my Libre device. I used Trisquel instead of arch on the x200 because I do not need the newest kernel or packages for what I do on it.
