I have a phone upgrade coming next week and I'm completely conflicted about which phone to get. I went and looked at both of them today and they're both badass. I don't want the s7 edge, it's too big.
I was impressed with the quality of the screen on the s7 and how it felt in the hand, but the G5 has the cooler camera setup and a bit of a larger screen. I don't care about the water resistance shit or the removable battery on the G5.
Can someone point me in the right direction please?

the g5 however is easily superior if it's good battery life that you're after since the s7 has afwful battery life and no replaceable battery (unless you use your screen at very low darkness mostly, then it's slightly better). the overall s7 build quality is better, but since the buttons are in the (objectively speaking) wrong order it actually does have a subtle disadvantage. the g5 will also "grow in value" because of the modules

the only real "high end" phone is the iphone really, android high end phones lose 50% value after 6 months so it's obvious that they aren't worth that much in the first place and other than that on android you can have something close to the $700 phone for $350.

I'm also deciding between which of these two phones.
Fuck HTC, during my 2-year contract I went through 4 different M8's, each of them having rapidly morphed into a brick throughout their short lifespans. First it will lose it's ability to grip your micro-USB cord and you will have to replace it every week, then your battery is fried over the next month, then your processor has degraded to the state of a first generation iPod touch. I'm temporarily using an old iPhone 5 just to get me by the next month, and even it has held up ridiculously better (internally) than any of the M8's.
You know as someone that hates touchwiz with all my soul, the G5 somehow has an even more visually bloated interface

I was given a G5 for free and desu the only reason I haven't switched back to my Nexus 5 is because the battery life is nicer. I want a 6P.
