Anyway I got the rosewood model I'd recommend that version. Real wood.
It's a big pocket knife and it has a good weight to it. I like that heft it has adds to the sturdy feel this knife possesses.
The knife has great ergonomics it feels really good in my hand. Removing the clip it has makes it more comfortable.
There are some possible downsides which I will go into. It uses this proprietary screw that you can see in the picture it's the triangle looking thing. It makes it very difficult to tighten or loosen. Which means you can't adjust how easy or hard it is to open the knife. Personally this is a non-issue for me and most people I have heard that have used this knife. It's a little stiff when you first get it but just keep opening it and closing it and it will hit that sweet spot. I can flip mine open with one hand easily just by hitting the tab. Also there is a fix for the bolt that has worked perfectly where you make an etching into the center of a bolt and just use a flathead to adjust it at will.
The other is the blade is sharp enough to do probably whatever your going to use it for but it's a little in the dull side. But I don't know shit about sharpening knives and I only have an old wetstone with no oil to sharpen it with. So you will most likely have a better result in sharpening it then me.
I really like this knife. Very sturdy and durable it will not let you down.

As far as I remember it's a nice corrosion resistant steel, that as you said should server the non knive collecting anon pretty well.
I have a few cheap spyderco 8Cr13MoV and I'm able to sharpen them to the point where I can remove my armhair pretty well.
Anyway for any anon buying a knive with said steel, keep in mind it looses a lot of its sharpness pretty quick by cutting paper or cartons with it. Probably a cheap chink knive sharper will keep it at a good sharpness, without the hassle of learning how to use a wet stone.
