I only got into launchers a few days ago, and so far I'm only liking the Nokia Z launcher. It just shows your most used apps automatically it's easy to open up any other, or swipe to the right and get the rest alphabetically.

I use 3 home screens with the first one I posted which you referred to as the main screen in the middle, pic related now is the left screen with basically the 4x1 play music widget if you meant that.
3rd/right one is filled with categorized folders and 2 organization widgets, left top corner is a simple connection traffic speedmeter baked into the rom, bottom on screen buttons are from left to right back/hide the button navbar/recent apps/home (fits better to my current movement habits, but I don't see a problem in hopefully soon my next device HTC 10 using soft buttons integrated to the bezel)
The green 2px bar is miui battery percentage sometimes I'm disabling the icon and only use the bar to orientate through battery life, currently using numbers inside the icon again
