Unless you have a consistently decent upload there is always some risk that you'll lose buffer from this. I gained the majority of my upload through finding requests, but when in doubt, upload recent shit from Bandcamp (you can find the free releases in Google, and seedboxes autosnatch them)

Well you'll tend to find the invite forums on the more popular sites aren't that dissimilar, and WCD is recommended most because of it's ease in joining and being the largest tracker in it's respective content. You'll only find yourself needing a handful of sites in any invite forum, yet it's best to be on multiple of them (for redundancy in case one goes down, and for the few sites that won't recruit in certain other places)

* Seeding size should be generous and higher than it was being asked.

* Since paranoia level will be 0, he will see each and every move of yours. Don't try to fool him, since he won't get many PM for the recruitment.
* If he finds many releases being downloaded for a single movie, he gets's suspicious. Don't hoader to increase your snatch.
* Do not download many releases on a single day, instead keep it regular.
* Do not download short torrents to increase snatch. If you are, keep it to the minimum. (Ex: Audio's, Short movies etc.)

1. If you're already on bibliotik, reach elite. If you're already PU with 150 weeks, then you meet the requirements too. If you're not on bibliotik, slowly brew your account if you can but you might not make it before the reqs switch again.
2. There are no other requirements other than what MM specifies. Don't forget that you're supposed to go onto the IRC
3. Wait patiently for the email and be very polite
4. Get your invite. If you don't get your invite, check your spam.
5. Congratulations, you are now in HDBits.

If you want me to give my hypothesis on whether or not HDBits recruitment on other trackers exist, I think that the rumoured PTP thread was real and I think that AHD was real until it got pulled.
You have to keep in mind that cabal trackers like recruiting on cabal trackers so the chances of a non cabal linked tracker with HDBits is kinda slim. This should let you sufficiently narrow down which trackers are the best to level up on for future recruitment.
Is there a point in having a high average seed time for low-tier sites like AB? I understand that on AHD or something you'd want a high average seed time in case you want to get into HDB, but it seems like there's no point on AB, especially once you have like a TB of buffer.

i was using rtorrent via ssh client until yesterday (windows user).
i tried to add a ~350 gb torrent file but it rtorrent refused to process it when hashing claiming it was too large (single file btw).
now i know i can set that stuff in rtorrent.rc BUT when i download the rc-file and try to edit it, all the line breaks are fucked. thx windows
i tried setting it via the ssh client too but it wouldn't accept any keystrokes when asking for my password. seems my seedbox provider doesn't allow it. although they have a tutorial for it.
now, how to i do this? i want to edit the rtorrent.rc on windows without the line breaks getting screwed up during the transfer process. i'm using filezilla btw.
it has pic related for options that are relevant i think. sorry for being a noob.
i have since switched to deluge - which does process the file no problem but i still want to go back to rtorrent. that's why i need to figure it out.
