I really feel like Windows Server is going to be the best solution for nearly all use cases within the next few years.
There is no best OS. It all depends on your needs.

It doesn't need networking to be a good server, we're all supposed to meet at God's temple anyway so there's no need for the OS to reach out to us. We can all just line up and take turn for our service/sacrament like we do for every other one.
