sorry i dont use outdated & shit software
>>54050238
Out dated method of testing windows machine performance, but my build ras running 7.8 at the time i built it.
>>54050246
windows 10 still has this but you have to do it in verbose mode
in cmd type
winsat formal -v -xml c:\winstatresults.xml.
then navigate to C:\Windows\Performance\WinSAT\DataStore to see all of the assessment XML files.
Pretty good performance.
Do they update this thing at all? Top is when I built my rig 4 years ago. The bottom I took just now, I haven't changed any hardware.
9.9 for everything
>>54050293
pics or it didn't happen
>>54050382
you can update it manually, or it updates autamagically whenever it detects relevant changes in your computer
Here, have mine from June 2013
>unironically posting winblows experience index scores for a dick measurement contest.
Never change, /g/.
>>54050238
>>54050496
I mean the tool. Scores should go down over time as new hardware is released, yet my score went up. 4 years is a long time for computer components.
WHY
faggots
>>54050670
Close all your running programs and press "re-run the assessment".
Where's my prize?

If a new cpu is released doesn't suddenly make your current cpu slower.
>>54053142
>didn't fall for the SSD meme
Good
>>54053177
No but if a 4 year old CPU maxes out the benchmark score, maybe you should adjust the score. It's meaningless when a 2600k and a 6700k both show 7.9 WEI score
>>54053190
I use the upgrade bay for a 1tb hdd so now I have 1.5tb, feelsgoodman.
>>54053215
But the Windows Experience of these two is actually the same.
>>54053215
They raise the max score in each new Windows release, I don't think they do any other adjustments.
In Vista, max was 5.9, they raised it to 7.9 for Windows 7.
I did the test and when it completed explorer.exe shit the bed
Thanks Windows

Meh, I didn't hope it would max. Well, it is a old PC already.
>>54053297
Yeah it hasnt changed since windows 7. So if your hardware is windows 7 Era or newer you'll get 7.8 or 7.9 for every category besides Disk performance, unless you have an SDD boot drive, then youll have 7.9s across the board

how do i get this on windows 10 or el capitan?

My phone has a 2.5 Ghz quad core.
>>54055240
good for you
>>54055343
Yeah I men that's hardly what I would call pretty good performance. Especially since that computer is probably 10 times as expensive as my phone.
>>54053177
Since performance is generally relative.
Yes, it does.
>>54055393
Not him but your quad core 2.5 GHz ARM would make out same as a dual core 1.5GHz X86 in a benchmark.
I got an overclocked 4690k and it's not highest rating.
>>54055393
>2.5 GHz for one cpu is equivalent to 2.5 GHz on a different model cpu
>>54055606
Are you actually in all seriousness implying that MacBooks that run on 2.5Ghz have pretty good performance but phones that run on 2.5Ghz don't?
What on earth are you thinking?
>>54055676
>Making up words.
Let me say what I said already:
2.5GHz for processor model A =/= 2.5 GHz for processor model B
I am sorry that you can't get over such a low hurdle.
>>54055676
ARM =/= X86
Theres a reason your phone has no cooling, but the mac has cooling.
