Is there anything GOOD going on with Windows 10 on the phone? Should I just stick with Android/Windows Phone 8.1? Anyone who has it on a high-end phone, please respond.
W10M is the future of the Windows Phone, Microsoft and other devs are dropping from the 8.1, so if you want to stay on the platform it's better update your phone or get a better one

It have better apps, functionality-wise it doesn't have a lot of new features, you have Continuum on 950/950 XL, but it's not very useful.
If you have a 8.1 Lumia you can upgrade it by the Upgrade Advisor/Windows Insider. Then you see if it's any good or not.

It's running pretty well on my 930.
The settings menu is less retarded; IMO, the OS and its design language are more beautiful; it handles apps on the background really well; printing capabilities.
However, somethings are missing like activating quiet hours when you have an event marked as busy or turn on wifi when you are near your favourite places.
These are some I remember, but overall I'd say it's an improvement over 8.1.
Works great on my 640. Still no good apps, though. Also Cortana is a cute feature wtf Cortana just autocorrected her name to a proper noun with a capital letter this is the beginning of the end.

It's great, but no Snapchat. Most apps have equivalents if you don't have the exact same app though. Missing some local transportation apps, things like that though.

I "upgraded" my lumia 930 from WP8.1 to 10. Honestly the only positive thing with 10 is MS Edge (most websites actually show up properly now), Groove for playing FLAC otherwise it sucks balls compared to xbox music and I have some swype like keyboard built in for my native language.
And the really bad is that my phone now is horribly slow. It lags like an Android. The OS is also horribly bugged and the touchscreen think I press stuff I don't do. Every fucking MS application wants me to leave reviews on the store every other use despite me telling it to fuck off.
And the final nail in the coffin is that Here Drive which was the reason I stuck with windows phone since launch is being removed in May this year due to MS "fixing" some feature in Windows 10 that breaks the navigation app. Here Drive simply stated lol there is no future with windows phone and MS got their own shitty map apps that kind of use Here technology so get fucked.
Unless the surface phone or whatever is released before the end of year and is amazing I'm going to try Android when it's time for my company to supply me with a new phone.

The built in music player now plays FLAC. It also plays my priated music just fine.

It would be pretty neat if shit like Netflix worked in Continuum. You'd have a small dock you could bring wherever without adding a lot of bulk that lets you hook up your phone to any monitor/TV while also charging it.
Standard full sized ports, so no need to keep specialized cables around since everyone and their mom's dog has at least one HDMI cable.
The Continuum dock would be great for this purpose if Netflix was actually supported on Continuum. It isn't though, which was rather disappointing while I was visiting my parents a few weeks back. Wanted to hook up my phone to their TV to let it charge while watching netflix on the TV and using my laptop in the couch, but that was a no go.

In its current state, Continuum is nothing more than a gimmick. I mean, yeah, sure you could technically use your phone as a small office computer, but that's it. And there are far better solutions for that, as WP10 will only run programs in full screen with Continuum.
No having two windows side by side, no real multitasking, nothing along those lines is possible.
Continuum seems cool on paper, and it has potential to be a good feature. But right now it isn't useful.

If you're on Android it's likely you use an app that isn't available in the Windows Store. If you're on 8.1, then yeah you should upgrade as 10 has a much better UI and multitasking features, not to mention devs are dropping 8.1 for 10
