This board lacks a speccy thread. Let's change that.
/Survival/ station for 4K. I can't wait when the real GPUs come next year.
>>54013519
CPU is 4.4
GPU is 1250/3800
>>54013519
Ok shut this down 156.57.234.220
>>54013534
>3800
gonna need to see some proof here, that would put the effective clock at 15200
pls rate
>>54015260
>1.4V
Damn bruh.
Nice setup..
>>54015190
He's got an Nvidia GPU. The effective clock speed of the memory doubles not quadruples like AMD cards do.
>>54017210
1.4v is a perfectly safe voltage to run skylake at. Anything higher than 1.45v is dangerous territory.
Not the best
new computer is here tomorrow though
>>54015260
Please lower that voltage, 1.3V is fine, its not worth 200 MHz.
>>54019302
but the internet says 1.4v is fine /s
in b4 hatred
No I don't play games, I just wanted a decently powerful laptop for my bed
>>54019450
oops
>>54019465
Jordan you should gift me an NVMe SSD what the h*ck.
>>54019629
no way dude!
>>54019465
Who the fuck copyrights Speecy screenshots?
>>54019683
It's automated, I make sure to put a copyright on all images I create.
>>54019465
meme it amadeus
>>54019714
Doesn't that go against the FOSS mentality?
>>54019741
Nope, Richard Stallman Himself is not even against protecting artists.
4790K at 4.7Ghz with 1.3v (will hit 1.36 under prime) with max temperature of 85c.
R9 390X at 1150/1750 +100mv
Waiting for G.skill 3400mhz 16gb modules and 1TB Samsung 850 Pro NVME.
>his laptop doesn't have FREEZING TEMPS
>>54020188
mate, none of your temps are freezing
>>54020221
He probably meant the sata disk. Otherwise p average.
>>54020229
It's still above freezing though, so I'm afraid I just don't know where she got the FREEZING TEMPS bit from
CPU is actually an i7 6820HK. Speccy is fugged.
>>54020123
Hey wanna be my sugar daddy??? ;3
skymeme and 32gb mustard race reporting in.

>>54019302
intel stock vid for skylake is 1.2 - 1.4v's (max is 1.5v's).
many 6700k's come running out of the box at 1.35-1.4v's with stock settings.
>>54020630
>1500mhz
why
>>54020732
Intel recommends a maximum of 1.42 iirc. Some mobos might not be able to handle it too.
Due to the lack of a build thread, I'll ask this here:
Are there any aesthetic rear exhaust GPUs?
5k hackintosh incoming
>32gigitys
SSD RAID 0, laptop.
I've been told that I need to upgrade
>>54025713
forgot to mention, GPU temps are high because they're utilized. idle around 40's
>>54025713
Explain your build
>>54025957
SETI, Folding, cryptomining...
>>54025973
How's the power draw? Any of these overclocked? How do you deal with all that heat? Is it in its own room?
rate pls
>>54020759
why what?
>>54025713
>being so poor you need to photoshop speccy
awful job
>>54026005
i built a custom open case using basic aluminum angle. The cards a spaced out enough for decent air draw. The cards closest to the CPU are the warmest.
MSI Afterburning running them at 100% fan, over clocked all of them running at about 1150MHz on the GPU. Stock memory clock.
current power draw, according to my meter is 1280watts/hr. I have it setup at work-- free electricity.
>>54026117
false. 100% true. not at work, cant time stamp.
>>54026117
I could however, remote access, what type of screenshot would you like me to take?
>>54020759
intel stock range that all motherboard manufacturers have to abide by is 0.55v's to 1.52v's. so motherboards have to be able to handle at least 1.52v's.
i've owned 4 (3x malaysia and 1x vietnam) 6700k's so far myself and every single one at stock settings with stock turbo, nothing manual, nothing changed from reference intel specs, all hit between 1.41 - 1.45v's during normal operation frequently. across both gigabyte and asus boards. check out overclock.net's skylake club and you'll see the same.
skylake is very robust compared to haswell with voltages.
since 1.52's is the max the overclocking community sets the max to 1.45v's to give headroom and stay under the max voltage.
tweaktown has a nice article about it:
