I don't have any modern hardware to test it on, so please run it and tell me how well it runs on modern CPUs. It's multi-threaded, so it should also serve as a nice benchmark.

On your machine, ram usage would grow by about 40MB/s if you were actually caching it and the terminal still wouldn't catch up.

Except even in CPU-only mode MTY_CL runs better. Assuming it's only running on one core on the Phenom II for whatever reason, it'll only scale up to about 6.7 Mt/s, whereas MTL_Cl is running at 9 on CPU alone.
