My Windows 7 Updates isn't working - endless Searching. Even after using a variety of fixes / deleting all the Update Cache / using the FixIt that basically reinstalls it, it still doesnt work.
Is Microsoft just killing it on purpose or is it just down right now?

I had to manually stop Windows Update service, grab the Windows Update troubleshooter, run that, then tried updating again and it worked.
I checked when it was fucking up and it was opening handles to the DataStore file zillions of times in an infinite loop.
