>thinking the "qBittorrent stalling" thing is just a meme
>the qBittorrent project page has dozens of people reporting it stalls for no reason
>the maintainer of the project acknowledges there is a stalling problem and is currently giving people test builds to try and fix the stalling problem

Remember when you guys said the stalling was just a meme?
Even the project leader says its a problem and they haven't fixed it yet.
What now, qBittorrent fanboys? You still going to call it a meme?
Are you still going to be in denial even with this evidence?

>>53985010
I told this earlier I literally don't care, I just download shit when needed. Not a lifeless ptg cuck
>stalled torrents
If you read the github issues, most people that have stalled torrent problem are VPNfags.
Why don't you rent a fucking seedbox instead of using VPN ?
>>53985026
If you just download shit why is it still in your client?

>>53985086
Because I downloaded Minitab and didn't close it. I don't reboot frequently? What are you trying so hard to prove here, retard?
>>53985135
It just doesn't seem like you "just download" when you are clearly seeding.
People who "just download" delete the torrent as soon as it's done.
I use deluge.
Don't care.
No stalls over here :^)

>>53993623
No, we didn't.
Remember the baretorrent meme /g/?
>>53985722
hahaha no way you are being serious man
Until qBitTorrent puts together a decent fucking blocklist support, it doesn't surprise me they have other issues.
I tried qBT years ago and found that it only supports loading a local blocklist file from a non-compressed archive, MANUALLY. I couldn;t believe it then, I can;t believe it now! I tried one of the recent versions a few months back and still this wasn't fixed! Seriously, how hard is it to add comprehensive blocklist support - Deluge, Transmission, KTorrent (which i really fucking hope they update) all have it!
Blocklists are only useful when updated frequently, easily. That is why it needs to have an automatic/schedule/at load update, be able to update from a URL like a civilized application, and be able to use .tar/.zip/.gzip compressed lists as well as the other formats. Surely this can be ported from Deluge or Transmission with ease?
Oh and before someone yells to use a fucking firewall/hosts/ they don't use blocklists etc.. that's tedious bullshit. I don't want to block all these ranges for everyfuckingthing, just peer to peer. Peerblock and similar tend to break the fuck out of things I may want to browse to etc.
Really hope they fix this shit some time. I've seen others post about it before too so I can't be the only one Until then, I'm on Deluge or something else that is comprehensive and open source.

Stop using a shit OS that qBT has to fucking work around the massive failures of and qBT will work just fine.
>>53984469
>Are you still going to be in denial even with this evidence?
What?
No
I hate when it stalls
Were people actually denying it? yeah no it happens, thankfully it usually goes away, I have already downloaded huge ass 0 seed downloads that took weeks to get so it does work
>>53984469

>>53996947
Even when I used Windows years ago, qBit worked fine. I literally have never experienced stalling. I don't get what this fucking meme is about. Is it just retards who don't know hoe to properly configure their client and network?
>>53995031
Too many younguns here. I remember, though.
>>53996252

What should I use now for Windows? Do trackers unanimously still accept utorrent 2.2.1? Deluge always performed terrible for me on Windows, so should I just use Transmission-qt?
>>53984469
Nice meme. Works on my machine.
It sounds like you've got Windows problems.
>>53985449
what file manager is this? dolphin?
>>53984469
I literally had no problems ever since I instaled qBittorent, and alongside transmission they are the best clients for windows.
qBittorent just give me a much better speed, so I'll keep using this - because when I torrent downloading fast is all I care.
>>53996252
i fully agree.
though all i really want is being able to block by country/geolocation and block 0% clients that dont connect and just gather peers.
>>53995031
