Hey, I'm looking for mice under $40 that are known to be sturdy and reliable, a so-so sensor would be nice too since I play CS:GO.

Is the M65 good enough? Perhaps the Sensei RAW?

Both are shit.

For budget mice, maybe try Cougar.
>>
>>53958475
I have one its isn't that bad and it has a good weight to it.
>>
>>53958515

It's way too expensive m8.

>>53958517
Wrong name, anon.

>>53958527
They are kinda expensive though, except for the 200M.

>>53958583
How long have you had it if I may ask?
>>
CM Storm Alcor. Cheap, good shape, good sensor.
>>
>>53958643
>CM Storm Alcor

Looks pretty good, but kinda out of budget for me. I would be willing to spend $50 max. Sorry to be poor.

Anything in that range with an Omron switch or similar? I want it to be very reliable.
>>
>>53958681
Alcor too expensive? It's €30 where I live.

Maybe have a look at the Thermaltake Talon?
>>
>>53958707
$60 on Amazon.

The Talon seems nice enough, any direct experience m8?
>>
>>53958754
No personal experience, I just know it's a fairly well-reviewed budget mouse.
>>
>>53958769

Fair enough, helps tons though. More recommendations for a Hue that wants a nice mouse are always welcome.
>>
>>53958800
Also maybe check out the Roccat Kiro, €45 where I live.
>>
>>53958808
Wow that actually looks like something I could use. Excellent, thanks mate.
>>
>>53958869
No problem, glad to help out.
>>
I was about the suggest the G303, but looks like the prices on it skyrocketed. I paid 40-something for mine when I got it, now they're like 70 everywhere.
>>
>>53959097
$46.50 @ Amazon. Would you recommend the mouse?

Get a mionix castor or avior 7000. I'm sure you can get the latter on ebay at a reasonable price. Spending a bit more is rewarded in longevity and performance.
>>
I use the m65 and am really happy with it. But the switch on the scroll wheel click is cheap shit and will start to break after about 5000 scroll wheel clicks.
>>
Mx518 by far

Had it for over 6 years and this shit doesn't break.
>>
>>53958475
get a deathadder, theyre on sale for about $35

good sensor
great mouse for csgo
realiable
>>
>>53960512

and out of the mice ive owned my 2 deathadders have never broken on me
>>
>>53958475
don't know about the yt channel, but the tek syndicate mouse has great specs for $40

3310 sensor, omron switches

I've had mine for around a year and like it quite a bit. It's quite solidly built and has one of the best sensors out there. Some people dislike the shape, but as a fingertip grip user I think it's great, and don't get cramps from it like I did with my previous G502.

Found this one a while back. It's cheap but I am very happy with it.
>>
>>53958475
Have an m65, literally no problems. comfy and glides well.
>>
>>53958515
They stopped making those several years ago, retard.

Anyone else with a G400 that can chime in? I think the wheel click could be less stiff, and the side buttons are a little high up, but is otherwise perfect.

Really, the Intellimouse 3.0 was ergonomically perfect. I just can't deal with poll rate hacks anymore and I do appreciate more than 400dpi.

this is like 10 bucks on amazon, and it has macros, repogramable, non autisic coating, can turn off the led's if not your thing and extra buttons
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00T8ZWER0/ref=s9_hps_bw_g147_i2

chink shit, but its preety solidly built
>>
>>53961485

that's the ugliest shit I've ever seen
>>
>>53961507
>asks for cheap reliable mouse with good sensor

didn't say anything about looks, so kill yourself
>>
>>53960728
i second this, you can get it for a bit cheaper on there shop.
http://www.epicpants.com/t-shirts/tek-syndicate-gaming-mouse-standard-issue
>>
>>53961529
I refuse to believe that has a good sensor and I refuse to believe anyone who would buy that monstrosity would be able to tell a good sensor.
>>
>>53961507
also it can be turned off the be a plain white mouse, the design looks like a meme but its coating is good

>>53961627
i mean you get what you pay for, mine was
>7$

and its better than my old Naga which isn't saying much

>7-10$
>know someone whos had one for a few years still works fine

Don't need to go into an autistic shitfit.

i've had the m65 for a little over a year now, it still works good. The scroll wheel has a very nice feel to it. Its ugly as fuck in the back though.
>>
>>53958475
Currently using a m65. After around a year the middle click died, the driver software stops working after a restart, and the side button gets wiggly after a couple thousand clicks. wouldn't recommend
>>
>>53958475
I've used the m65 for a few years now, it's a pretty solid mouse.
>>
>>53958475
Ive got a white M95, its good but its pretty heavy

The bottom is basically a metal plate with teflon feet

Very sturdy though, solid build but VERY heavy and more built for wrist aiming so probably not good for FPS

Honestly if you need a mouse for an FPS go Zowie, the FK is about 60 bucks and the AM is 50 I think

w/e you do don't fall for the RAT-cyborg mice or the Death Adder, both broke within a year for me
>>
Save up a little bit for for a SS Rival.
>>
>>53958515

Failure rates are actually extremely high. I have 5+ G400/S in my closet one is mine with a bad cord the rest are my friends that have stopped working.
>>
>>53958475
I have the Corsair Vengeance M65, had it since januari 2014, still works great I have not had any problems with it whatsoever. I really like how it sits in my hand
>>
>>53964731

Isnt that $40? Thats how much I paid for mine. It wasnt even on sale
>>
>>53958475
The M65 is a great mouse but I'm not sure where you are getting it for <$40
>>
>>53958475

Any one know of a mouse that has very durable coating on it?
>>
>>53967406
Ducky Secret, grippy PBT body with no coating at all. That's about the most durable finish you're gonna get.
>>
>>53958515
this, just fucking buy this or you're stupid. this is all the mouse anyone could ever need.

durable, buttons, flawless sensor, good feet. tape the cable down to your desk, get you a QcK(+ or heavy) and fuck shit up
>>
>>53967423
>PBT

this sounds like what I need, how is the sensor on this thing?
>>
>>53967438
It's a 3310, meaning it's basically perfect.
>>

How's the G100s /g/?
>>
>>53958515
yeah this mouse is THE ideal mouse for FPS games, really light clicks so you don't have to bugger your aim.

it stacks up with zowies on all counts, except for clicks. it actually overcomes zowie on the clicks, because the zowie firmware has click lag, hurting your reaction time. especially in CSGO when the tick is 128
>>
>>53967522
as marketed, it's better for RTS/MOBA. the clicks are much stiffer than the other logitech mice.

not bad though, maybe a good weight vest. when you move up to a g400s you'll instantly do better at whatever game you've been practicing.
>>
I had an m65 and it was shit, sensor issues and hardware acceleration. Switched to a new Roccat Kova and I've been very happy with it.
>>
>>53961485
>optical mouse, for the game

Yeah I'd rather stick with a stock 5$ microsoft one
>>
>>53967522
Broke after 5 months, got my trusty MX518 which has been working for 7 years.
>>
>>53967522
I have this mouse at the moment,
pretty much garbage.
The sensor is somewhat fine if you compare it to 10 dollar mice.
there is this fucking acceleration that is just literally fucking everywhere.

There are some pro's too:
average size, no Gaymer macro buttons.

4/10 not worth the price.
>>
MX Master race reporting in. I still hate the page forward button though.
>>
I have the m65, the sniper button broke in a few months and there seems to be some acceleration that can't be turned off. Also I didn't like the shape so the fucker just lies in my drawer.
I am using the logitech g400 and I gotta say, it's my favorite mouse, the cord broke but I fixed it by ordering a repair kit from eBay.
