Hey /g/
I have this issue in wine with a couple applications that is driving me crazy. I use wine to run some proprietary chemical cataloging thing for my research, this issue also happens in a bunch of other applciations, even shit like Starcraft.
When I close the program, it just hangs and starts sucking up 100% cpu
Any ideas?
Also wine thread.
Reboot into your actual Windows partition instead of using an emulator. Yes, I know you have one.

What version of wine?
>>53936626
wine-1.9.7-1 off of the default arch repo.

So you're using the development version of wine and weirdly experiencing bugs.
Maybe switch to stable

Oh wow, I didnt even realize.
Is the stable versions in the repo's somewhere? Or should I just build directly?

>proprietary chemical cataloging thing
I hope you have added this to the wineHQ database if it doesn't exist already.
>>53936707
Stable is version 1.8.1
I have no idea what it would be in the arch repos

I couldnt find the stable binaries anywhere and I'm feeling lazy.
