Help bro's! Windows Photo Viewer is honestly terrible,
Images are sometimes not shown due to bandwidth/network limitations. Refreshing the page usually helps.

Very true. The entire thing looks like it hasn't been updated since 1992. But it views every file type well and has 1000000 options.

Idea: the /g/entlemen should update Irfanview's UI

JPEGView is very nice, but it has one fatal flaw. It doesn't let you step through GIFs.

In Irfanview, you can pause a GIF and go through it frame by frame.

The old 2.x versions are still to this day the fastest and most feature complete image viewers I've seen.

XnView MP comes close but just isn't as fast.
Imagine (Korean version) is also great but missing some features. It's useful for reading archives though, since it supports native archive browsing and Unicode.

Cans some actually recommend a modern image viewer?
>>
>>53959019

I can't recall its name, but there is a great photo viewer that supports gif scrubbing, a billion formats, and all sorts of great things.

The only thing I remember is that the default background of the application, when you don't open an image file, looks like a circuit board.
>>
Here it is: http://www.fragmentapp.info/

Brilliant application. I used it for a good while before I wrote my own image viewer.

why are image viewers so ugly? what cant there be one that just looks normal like this.
