Ubuntu is one of those mass-produced houses in the suburbs... it's ok, sure, and it can be comfy in the way that any not-horrible house can be, but it's completely devoid of personality, and its potential comfiness is limited.

Gentoo is a house that needs a little work, but once you've done your renovations, it's comfier than one of those mass-produced houses could ever be. A real home~
