Why shouldn't I get this phone?
Because your current phone does everything you need.

?

This really.
I have a Note 4. Recently cracked my screen. Haven't purchased a blackberry because I can't justify spending money on a phone when even my cracked phone does everything I need it to.
>>53920596
But my current phone is kill goys.
How does bb10 OS compare to android? I can't run TOR on a bb10 OS right?
And android seems cool because it supports more of the open source community.
But the OS sounds so dank

If your current phone is kill get a $20 dumbphone from nokia.

What do you need to do that this phone doesnt for 70$?

Yeah see listen here boys. My stupid windows phone pissed me off and just bugs out all the time, has never worked properly since I've gotten. I'm due for an upgrade anyway.
So, the way I look at it I have three options
>Blackberry 10 Leap
I hear the OS is great, but the company is dying and the app selection is shit. Fortunately for me though, I don't use many apps so I think I'd be phone.
>Nexus, Galaxy or some Replicant OS
I'm interested in this because it aligns more with the open source FSF side of things, while still having support from Google.
>Ubuntu Phone or Openphoenux
Kind of extremist, but I feel it'd be spending my money in the right sort of way.
Any thoughts?

BB10 is only like $75.

Where? Because if it is I might regret my purschase.
>>53920813
ok i lied
>>53920466
Because its a dead company and platform with no apps.
>>53920688
Latter two options, BB is failing. Ubuntu phone is the most interesting if you really don't need specific apps.
>>53920997
does ubuntu ONLY run ubuntu or could I do debian, arch, etc on it?
>>53920956
but the os anon
>>53921053
it's not regular ubuntu, it's a cancerous ubuntu mobile OS with no apps
>>53921095
this doesn't sound too cool
SO, ANDROID IT IS HUH UNLESS I WANNA BE A BRANDKEK and get a bb10?
>>53921229
whoa how weird, I know for a fact I typed out cuck
c-u-c-k
>>53921095
If it had more apps and more hardware support I'd be all over it. I use Ubuntu as my main OS so it'd be nice to have my devices connect
>>53920688
I have a passport. The OS is great but blackberry is dropping support for it though they claim they aren't they're making no new phones.
I would never buy a nexus device personally because I hate google which was part of why I got the blackberry. I found using Android without gapps too much of a chore as well, it is less obnoxious on blackberry I find as you aren't constantly subtly reminded. Also generally the only way to get rid of gapps is a custom OS and a lot of the time the support can be poor after the phone is no longer the hot new flagship.
I like ubuntu phone a lot I am keeping my eye on it I'm very tempted by the new meizu they're coming out with but I will probably hold off until we get the phone that can do convergence over USB to HMDI as that is where all the real power comes from.
