Hi there /g/ lately my monitor keeps doing this shit and just blacks out (if i disconnect the cable from my pc it shows the "missing signal" thing, so it means it's capable of showing things on screen) but doesn't want to show my pc, any ideas what could it be?

It usually comes back to normal after 30 minutes, but it does it at random.

tried resetting bios to defaults?
Maybe try running a linux livecd on a pen drive for a while and see if it happens, if it doesnt, it's probably your OS install being spastic.

I'm good dude, thanks though. Glad it worked. Same thing happened to my desktop. Ended up taking to it a repair place since I couldn't figure it out. They ended up re-inserting the ram and everything has been perfect since.
