Just Google the shit. It's all over

Well, they're more secure. I roll with iradium, by far best browser

They also have big privacy problems. Chrome's are well-documented. You may remember a while back Google pushed a blob into Chromium (not just into Chrome, into Chromium) that recorded you and sent the results back to them, supposedly for some voice-control/Google Now kind of project.

Also Chrome looks like Chrome and there's no way to make it look like anything else. Which is a problem because it looks like ass.

I don't need to google this shit. Have you even bothered to read the links you posted? This isn't even a vulnerability by definition and anybody with at least a 2 digit IQ knows things have been like this for a motherfucking decade.

you dropped your tinfoil hat

It's a minor issue but webextensions are a good idea anyway. XUL addons are holding back progress.

>>53897461
This is not actually a flaw it's just the nature of how these addons work. These old addons are not run in a sandbox like chromium addons they have the same limits as firefox itself and can do almost everything that firefox can. This makes them way more powerful than chromium addons but it can also lead to danger. This is why AMO audits all of their addons and it's also why Mozilla wants to strictly enforce addon signing. The eventual plan is to completely disable these kinds of addons and hopefully everyone will move over to webextensions by that time.
