I can't do it guys, I just can't. This is literally taking wordpress managers and turning them into javascript devs so that they can now into UI and desktop application development with said Javascript.

Just can't

Looks like a bloated piece of shit for me.

What's not a bloated browser (4u)?

Not built in, but it can use any Chrome extension

Its shit and buggy
>>
>>53894734

If i could delete my Browser History in Vivaldi just like in Firefox, i would switch instantly.
>>
>>53895219
I wouldn't consider Otter Browser to bloated, but it's not in a fully usable state yet and won't be for a while i.e. anything besides basic browsing.
>>
Shit browser with shit layout, avoid
>>
Is there way that this Panel does not move the entire website to the left or right when i open it?

I would prefer something like a drop-down menu or something like that
>>
>>53894734
Still not as good as Firefox for handling hundreds of tabs, proper customizable mouse gestures and tiling tabs.

if not open source, it's shit.

Still shit but going in the right way
>>
>>53894734
lol so its done by same fags who made opera? this is funny some fatassholes don't even try to make something new they just like to redo same shit over and over again, its like those loonix faggs who code buttons whole their life (kde1,2,3,4 - gnome 1,2,3...) And here we have retards who wish to make web browsers their whole life.

Can you rip the UI and put in over Iridium?
My ass is sore after all the spyware probing.

I'm not even a freetard but browsers are the one type of software I'd much rather use a FOSS instance of.
>>
>>53894734
On Loonix there's a there's like a two second lag after you open a new tab that means you can't swtich to any oither tabs. Instantly dropped, also what real compelling reasons are there to use this browser over chrome?

Not free software

No wide availability of extensions

Why would that matter? It's just Chromium with a modified UI, the engine is still Blink.

That poart always pisses me off. Do we need a reminder that Windows is the dominant operating system by far?

I am using it now, it is just chromium with all the spyware removed (according to the devs).

Vivaldi ui over iridium would be perfect.

Tried it on (Slackware) Linux. Worked like total shit. I primarily use Firefox+NoScript+uBlock on sites that I don't trust 100% and surf (with hosts file domain blocking) on sites that I do

wtf are you doing where you use that many at once?
>>
>>53900126
Not him but you normally aren't using 100s of tabs to do one thing. I keep tabs open for everything not bookmark worthy
>>
>>53897737
This so much. Old Opera with proper script and modern web 6.0 tech handling would be a dream come true. Mainly because I still use the browser and get frustrated almost daily when every site is filled with 3000 external .js files at which Opera is terrible.
>>
It's great and I like it. But should it be 1.0 ? Fuck no, you can't even drag&drop tabs.

It's showing promise. It's actually good enough that I'm now using it as my main browser. Opera 12 was my favorite browser, and they clearly are trying to get some of the magic back. Some missing features still, but I hope they will get to them soon.

>no customizable mouse gestures
>no private tab (only private window)

How?
>>
>>53897326

Can you tell me?
>>
Seems to be as good in Opera in the places that count, but Speed Dial could use more customization options and Back/Forward support. For a 1.0 browser it's good.
>>
>>53894734
the latest version which I tested had far to many problems with bookmarks like not showing needing restart and sometimes the browser was very slow. If they fix that I will give it another shot till that I hop around between browser currently I try UC broswer

#panels-container{position:absolute;top:34px;bottom:0;left:0;z-index:4;}
.normal #main>.inner,

You can just shove that in a custom css file in your $AppData$/Local/Vivaldi/Application/$YOURVERSIONGOESHERE$/resources/vivaldi/style and then add a line including that stylesheet into the browser.html file one directory up from that using the same format as the common.css line in that file.
>>
>>53898644
What is your point?
What Windows has to do with the Opera? or any other browser in general.
Only IE/edge is microsoft only
>>
>>53905368

stupid rice browser with no privacy settings

that was my "elevator pitch" impression
>>
>>53906218
>By no means
As absolute statement is wrong, since web developers test their webs in browsers based on market share. So if opera displays glitches no one will bother fixing.
Since internet is all about browsing shitloads of different private webs, and web developers will focus on performance for most of the market share, you are a step behind than the rest of the browsers, not a big deal for most people, but there is that.
>>
>>53906403
>Since internet is..
I meant internet browsers obv.
>>
>>53906403
The proper way to test a website was to use Opera, if it worked in that it will work elsewhere as Presto adhered strictly to standards.
>>
Too much bloat inherited from Chromium.
Check out chrome://flags/.
>>
I had problems getting netflix, hulu, and other streaming services to work with it. Has that been fixed? Otherwise, I really liked the browser
