The Logitech G900 is pretty amazing. No, I don't like the gayming aesthetic either, but it has better tracking and less latency than most other mice, even when comparing its wireless version to, say, a Razer Mamba, a Razer Deathadder or a Steelseries Rival 300 (which are often marketed as "the best mice for gaming"). Both the Razer Deathadder and the Steelseries Rival 300 are wired mice and yet they perform worse than the Logitech mouse at click and sensor movement lag.
You may call this a gimmick, but the Logitech mouse has been tested in extreme interference conditions to make sure that you can't alter its tracking and it does a hell of a good job, while other mice are sometimes fucked up by extreme interference.
It's also available wired/wireless so if you don't like wireless then there's no problem.
Now, look at the price. $150. Yeah, it's expensive as fuck and most of the features you're paying for are a little bit extreme and you'll probably never use your mouse in those conditions to really take advantage of those things (like zero interference, extremely quick response times, etc.), but if you want the absolute best performance, I think that's it.
Comparatively, the Razer Mamba is $150 too and it's much worse, so at least buy this mouse if you were thinking on buying a Mamba.

I wasn't referring to the tracking speed as much as the surface the mouse is tracking. That's the biggest issue with the AM 010, it's very picky about the surface it's on. But yes it also has issues with tracking speed.

The AM010 still has a advantage over the 3366/3310/3988.

AM010 may feel more "raw" because of it's inferior framerate. However, it's implementation in the g100s has a tiniest bit more in the way of input lag than the 3366. To my knowledge, there's no smoothing at all in the G402 which puts it on par with 3366.
3366 mice however are not less responsive than any AM010 mice. In fact, g100s is less responsive, as stated.
Not that it's any issue because it's not actually a perceptible difference.
