I'd rather not have to press FN like I'm using a goddamn notebook whenever I want to use a special key, like F12 to screenshot or insert when I want to insert. I also use the numpad for gaming, it's essential to GTA V gameplay after all. Minecraft has a few F functions like no HUD, screenshot, tech specs etc. Counter Strike, or any valve game for that matter, has console access from ~ whereas ESC pauses. I use DEL quite frequently when editing files, and would absolutely hate if I'm renaming a file and accidentally press Delete and have to fish it out of my Recycle Bin. Page Up and Page Down are quite useful when scrolling through my brilliant 9Gag memes. Did I miss anything?

Most of the characters used in programming look comfier to do on US, but for writing italian stuff I'd miss àèìòù. How uncomfy are those to type on the US layout?

You can just get a American keyboard but keep the ITA layout on your computer. Sure some buttons will look wrong but you should be able to know them without having to look at it anyways.

Haven't been on /g/ for a while so don't know if this is a shitposting-only thread but I have a related question.
I'm looking for a cheap keyboard that doesn't suck. I'd like the feel of a Mech (quietest keys - Reds?) but my budget is probably like $40 since I don't care that much so they're probably out of my range. Basically just want something with decent key feel and a backlight for really cheap. Any suggestions?
I got this CM Devastator combo for $30 at Micro Center with my new build to hold me over until I figure out what keyboards/mice don't suck and it's actually not bad at all to me. I'll probably just keep it unless you guys could recommend some pretty good cheap boards/mice.

I'm the guy who owns the POK3R, to be honest 60% is a bit of a meme.
I only got this keyboard because it's 4-layer programmable. Unless you have the patience in setting it up to become more tolerable, I'd suggest a 5-row tenkeyless instead.
For example, in everyday use I have navigation and typing profiles which I often switch between. Without those profiles I'd be holding FN all the time. I also have a gaming profile with macros.
I honestly wouldn't buy a non-programmable 60% keyboard, unless my desk really had no space for anything else.
