So /g/ turned me on to `mpv`.

Is there a fantastic, pure CLI unzipper program that works with 99% of compressed formats? I would like something stupid easy like MPV.

there's pretty much a different command for each compression algorithm

bunzip2
gunzip
unxz
unzip

but i think >>53868840 has all of them in one

some .zip doesn't works with regular unzip package, but 7z works

What you want is the ‘unp’ program. It unpacks basically anything, be it .rar, .7z, .zip, .tar.XX, .iso, .deb, whatever.
