vlc is like that old high school buddy...you don't really hang with anymore but still keep in touch
so i kept hearing mpv mpv mpv and i just installed it on my macbook. it's literally nothing. can't set anything up. just plays shit but doesn't even have preferences. back to vlc i go.
MPC-HC has better anti-ringing than mpv so it's the best.
I don't hate it, I use it. Why the fuck would I wanna change a simple video player that just werkz?
Because there are many better video players available, people are just too afraid to try something "new" instead of VLC.

My only gripe with VLC is the lack of frame interpolation support for smooth animes, like I can do with MPC-HC and SVP tools.
