Jokes aside, it's not that women can't code. It's that there's a push for them to take every single space in which males are the majority. As such, some ideologues like the woman in that picture think they're completely capable, and religious people being religious they will follow her and tell her how great she is. If you notice, it's like the people who keep nurturing kids with down syndrome.
Some women out there can code, they don't bring their gender up because it's completely irrelevant. It's just what is popular is to bring platforms where vagina is the most important aspect of humanity.
You should come to my city and see, 80% of propaganda is towards how great women are in different areas, or how there's violence against them. I've known hard working women for quite a while, including my mother, but this is getting a bit ridiculous.

This is a industry with a very competitive jobmarket. If you're in charge of a hiring then you'll either have to hire students directly from college or from another business (pay them more than they currently make).
To reduce the labor shortage (and thus directly lower the average salary) the easiest way would be to just hire more women.

if you can apply math to code, know how functions, loops and variables work.
know more than one programming language and can implement something in a reasonable amount of time you are already employable and ahead of most cs grads.

you dont even need higher math or calculus. you just need to be able to apply math to code. if you can lets say program a circle that rotates around another and you can control velocity and distance. you are literally miles ahead of most of cs grads and are more than ready for a junior position.

ive sine year 3 software engineering majors struggle to find out which index something in an array is.
meanwhile ive seen some "gamedesign" kid make a voxel engine with realtime shadows that runs on the cpu just because one of the first things he learned was how to rotate a 3 dimensional object on how to work with a 3d vector and how to rotate something relative to something else.
