Is there any way to join Android devices to an AD domain?

/sqt/ is for stupid questions. This is a complex one. Also generals suck anyway.
Well, theoretically, if you install some real linux environment like Debian's you could use samba alright.

Actually Androids do a lot of things these days, even Microsoft Office.

No, joining a machine to the domain in the strict sense, requires that machine to be able to be a Kerberos client.
Sharepoint or even a wordpress site with an ldap plugin will fit the bill for file access.

Why do you believe Android is not Linux?
>>53831204
Just use BES12.
ActiveSync gives you a bit of control but other than BES12, maybe AirWatch.

It's literally the industry standard for enterprise directory services. Grow up.

Not sure how you feel about Azure AD though...

NEET confirmed.

I would evaluate the need for the AD be it single sign in ect. and then replicate this within the android environment to the closest of your ability with other means as by definition it won't be able to join AD.
I'll PM you the fix :^)
ES explorer works pretty ok with Samba, that's what I use to stream shit from my windows PC to Mx player.

Linux does in Wine. No issues.

Nearly every company in existence uses AD. It's actually a great management stack.
