For games, it beats a standard controller in anything that isn't a platformer (which is roughly matches), fighting game or twin-stick oriented. It's also really ergonomic (aside from the face buttons). It even works really well as a PC remote, which I wasn't expecting at all.

I loved playing dark knight with it. Especially in the tank, the head would turn around when I flick the touch pad.

Xbone Controller + Controller Companion Master Race
I wish it cost like £10 less. At £30 it's just slightly too much for an impulse buy.

This. Bought my first macbook for the keks and expected pure faggotory, but holy fuck, these things are perfect.
>>53828982
What kind of abomination is this?
>>53829003
Did you buy it second-hand at least?
>>53829047
Nah, I like buying things like that in stores. Waiting till packages arrive kills me, it's bearable for pc components or something but things I will actively use? Hell naw.
Besides, if it turned out to be as shit as I expected, I could've simply return it or use it as a gift.

I played 120h of MGS5 with it. At first I was a bit pissed, but after the first 40h I was just impressed.
Battery life of 90h is absolutely insane compared to Xbone and PS4.
This is innovation right there. They took an existing product and reinvented it. MS and Sony can go home with their shitty 10 year old hardware with barely 6h of battery life.

Dualshock 4 + ds4tool + Controller Companion Master Race

I bet they'll have deals on it during Steam sales.
Its really nice to use. Its actually kind of off putting going back to controllers that don't have the grip buttons.

SCP is so much better why not just use that

MacBook track pad is god tier.
>>53828979
Fuck I paid 40 quid for it and it seemed worth it. frequently offered with a 40% discount when you buy certain games. I had a lot of faith in it and it turned out to flop. Why did it flop? The right hand side of the controller is painful to use. Really painful. software-wise It's also ridiculously complicated, and you have to memorise your arbitrary bindings to keyboard keys a lot of the time.
>>53829101
so you just bought an overpriced piece of hw
>>53828795
got it last week, works great, have to get used with it in some genres, like fps
Can you stop shilling this absolute garbage controller on /v/ and /g/ you cunt.
It's garbage. It's cheaply made garbage that doesn't fill any niche except for playing Civ V on the couch.
99% of the presets are buggy and the drivers are garbage.
Kill yourself.
>>53832634
Overpriced would imply I could get something similar for less. The average ultrabook starts at 1k (there are slightly cheaper ones now but I bough it couple years ago)
Besides, knowing how much better a macbook is after using it, I'd say they are dirt cheap given the competition. Shit, even the Airs with their ghetto screens are still vastly superior due the trackpads. As nice as 4k is, it will never add enough to productivity to match the gestures, and this is ignoring Windows scaling issues ... and tons of other Windows problems.
>worse for kb+m games than kb+m
>worse for gamepad games than a normal gamepad
it's shit
