Should Microsoft abandon Xbox, Windows Phone , Lumia/Surface line, Entertainment and focus primarily on software and cloud?

Windows barely puts effort in anything but their software.
You have to understand M$ used to be the biggest company in the world that had about no products outside of Windows.
They probably started most of those projects becuase why not.
Besides I'm a WP owner and I can tell you they basically abandoned the platform. W10 mobile is a bugfest worse than Android.

well they have been focused on the cloud for the last couple of years. It is the area they see most growth and probably the most safe bet for the future.
What needs focus is a steady internet connection across the world for any cloud service to be practical

Yes I think MS should stop all this hipster shit and focus on software and cloud.I hope Gates-ji and friends learn their lesson from WP.
I really dont think a company the size of Microsoft has the limitations of having problems of multitasking.
