So I installed Arch about a week ago on my lenovo. It works like a charm. Took a lot of work to get it working but it's all good now.
I'd like your guys suggestions on making it look fabulous because I'm bad. I wan't something modern like El captitan or pic provided.

If you want it to look like pic related you should install a tiling wm like i3/bspwm/awesome/dwm, get to know terminal emulators and cli apps like ncmpcpp/weechat/vim.
