I agree that pen and paper works for most things
What I'm interested in though are recurring tasks for crossing of daily, weekly etc.

Trello for projects, Google Keep & Calender for personal stuff

Org mode in emacs
brain.exe, it is free, the fastest that exists, doesn't use computer resources at all, and has a very very large capacity for all your to do lists, notes, even pictures, and videos,
To install just go to www.google.com and type : How to meditate.
After that meditate for a week or to at least before attempting to use it, after the two week mark your brain.exe is configured at its minimum potential, but you can start using it, keep meditate_daily.exe running so brain.exe gets better over time.

My effectiveness app
Google keep
I've tried using google keep but switched to trello real fast. Trello is kind of bloated, but google keep has less features than actual sticky notes.
I want to switch to some self-hosted todo list though I can't find a decent one.

Is there a linux version?
Consider using personal wiki software like Zim Wiki or Tiddly Wiki which has the entire program stored in one html file.

is this some fucking tablet shit again?
anyway, pen and paper or notepad, does not have to be so fucking complicated
>>53828499
Desktop, web, tablet or phone.
Yeah it doesn't have to be complicated but some specific apps/ideas just work well with how some people work.

I wish there was a decent orgmode port to a sane editor
