Einstein, Newton, Descartes... the entirety of mathematics, science and computing was discovered/invented by INTP's.
Yeah but it's hella hard and the industry isn't that big. Most who study it wind up going into software because it's hella easier, has more openings, and the pay is nearly the same anyways.
