Why is vb.net a bad programming language, I personaly like it and use it for all my programming needs, it's simple and gets the job done same as other programming language.

It's like C# only with a mongoloid's syntax
>No higher order functions
>No algebraic data types
>No tail-call optimization
INTO THE TRASH IT GOES
It's fine. Personally the syntax is sometimes a little annoying because of no curly braces, so I prefer C#, but functionally it's identical and perfectly fine.

Edna stop shitposting you cunt.
> If x AndAlso y AndAlso z OrElse t Then
>JUST()
>EndIf

There's nothing wrong with it at all, its just unconventional as hell so it gets programmers' panties in a bunch.
>muh curly braces
>muh ; like its 1976 and we're programming on 80x30 teletype terminals
Stupid logical operator.
Can't break line if code is too long.
I used Visual Basic back in middle school and it was great for just making stupid little programs that weren't very important. The main plus is how fucking easy it was to make a fully functional GUI program with it.
It would be cool to have something similar that used Python or Ruby instead. Imagine if you could alter the style based on popular GUI toolkits like GTK, Qt, etc. I say this from the perspective of someone who almost never does any coding.

Op here Am I a programmer if I use vb.net since it's so easy is it me but when I program all my code is really turning booleans on and off, doing basic math, changing gui looks and really that's it. Sorry stupid question

There is literally no reason to use VB.NET over C#.
