No matter. I don't want to boot into windows just to run my usual operating system.
The only excuse for me to run windows at all is games.
>>
>>53810247
Unless your from 1970 this couldn't replace your Unix environment anyway, It's for developers, not general usage.
>>
>>53806663
Thanks for the question, Derrick. I assume what you meant by 'lincucked' is what is typically referred to as a Linux™ based operating system, and there are many reasons you might want to run such an operating system as opposed to Windows 10.

The main (and perhaps only reason) to use Linux is the vast amount of window managers, terminal emulators, and text editors, all with pre-configured themes that are easy to use, can help you express your true self to your peers. For example, if you enjoy football and want to share that with your friends, you could change your prompt to reflect that, perhaps by adding a for your prompt! How's that for a touchdown!
>>
Freedom from an oppressive OS that spies on you. And it's not just Win10, they've backported that shit to their old versions too.

Windows is dead. Anyone on /g/ that actually thinks it's good is a paid Microsoft troll.

I've been using 8.1 since it's came out and have never had a complaint. Should I change to windows 10?

I want to hear reasons that aren't botnet and linux memes.

thanks famalam
