I'm really sorry guys, but the secret has to get out.
Usually a pretty strong neodymium magnet against the phone works pretty well. If not try testing it out on your computer. Rubbing it against the side of the computer (not the monitor but the box itself if your computer isn't a Mac) and just rubbing it around there. Usually if you can find the hard drive you'll see the best results immediately. Your monitor will go a little red, but no worries this is just a temporary effect to test your magnet. Keep track of the time you started. If it doesn't work just keep rubbing. When it goes red log that time and use the length in between as your depolarization time. This is the amount of time your magnet takes to depolarize the ions in the hard drive, which in a desktop/laptop hard drive only provide temporary effects. When you then go onto the phone due to the higher memory density, these effects will be more permanent and as a result will reset the phone's internal memory state, allowing it to be activated like it is brand new.
Once again /g/, I apologize. I really hate to spill the beans on our secret, but it's ingenuity had to get out sometime.
