Hey guys so I was trying out Windows 10 Enterprise, but where is the option to completely disable the telemetry? I thought Enterprise edition let you disable it completely, setting it to "off."
microsoft knows whats best for you. besides you need to help win 10 improve

>>53794569
I'm not interested in installing even more botnet.
>>53794517
Rajeesh here. I already disabled it for you, friend :)
>>53794636
Enjoy your botnet LMAO
>>53794708
It's in a virtual machine with networking disabled.
So is there ANY version of Windows 10 at all that lets you disable the telemetry? What about Enterprise LTSB?
>>53794766
or Embedded/POSready edition?
>>53794735
I'm assuming that VM is running on a Linux host, right? Otherwise enjoy your deprecated botnet.
Wasn't it in a group policy setting?

This, you have to do it via group policy manager.

Server2008
>>53794786
It's only this setting right? There's no other ones I need to mess with? Do I still need to disable the diagnostics tracking service?

>Do I still need to disable the diagnostics tracking service?
Yes
Also what the fuck is Windows 10 RT
>>53794923
>still gets updates
>DEPRECATED
>>53794861
Incidentally, this setting was renamed in the November update to make it clear that it doesn't actually disable all telemetry. There's literally no way to turn it all off. You'd have to block it with a hardware firewall.
>>53795463
Nice catch, I'm gonna be dumping Windows 10 then.
>>53794517
>>53795463
>a setting of 0 applies to EDU devices
So win10 education can turn off telemetry shit too?
>>53795936
There is no "off."
>>53795982
I know, I meant the 0 setting
>>53795996
Yes
>>53794517
I'm running Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB. If I remember correctly, I had to use the group policy editor. Search for the guides to do so online.
>>53794568
That is a serious response
>>53794569
Enjoy your malware.
>>53794517
It is a group policy setting on Enterprise only, however it still will collect windows defender security data regardless. Make sure you disable other botnet features too.
Contrary to popular belif, it is not possible to disable the botnet on ANY windows 10 version. Prove me wrong.
>he wants to disable the Microsoft Experience features
Get a load of this faggot
