Hey anon! Why aren't you using qutebrowser?!

> Cross-platform
> Vim keybindings
> Faster than Firefox and Palememe
> Integrates with your system, allowing you to execute scripts and do whatever you want (e.g. open video link with mpv)
> Very lightweight
> The indiegogo campaign to port its engine to the chromium based QtWebEngine is already 120% funded
> Free Software under the GPLv3
> Very customizable; You can either use the menu bar or edit a config file

What are you waiting for? :^)

> Vim keybindings
Well, there we go. Perfect reason to not use this trash.
>>
>>53786827
Vimperator/pentadactyl can do all of this. If 'qutebrowser' ever becomes even remotely useable it'll be bloated beyond comprehension and will require you to read through the scum manifesto every time you start it to appease the SJW who financed the indiegogo campaign.

Vimperator/pentadactyl will be abandoned as soon as sjwfox introduces webextension
>>
>>53786941
I guess we'll just wait until that happens
>>
there is no noscript or similar to block javascript so I won't be using it.
>>
>>53786982
That will be implemented just wait :^)

Stallman is the self proclaimed leader of the church of emacs, which declares vim as "editor of the beast"

I use vim everyday but cannot see the point of it on a web browser ?

qutebrowser thread! hell yeah! get in here

My favourite browser. Perfect in every way.
>>
>>53786885
no. The dev is chill, met him at C32
>>
>>53788737
I dont know what you're talking about. I have passwords stored with passwordstore and that integrates into qb really well.
>>
>>53792170
Could you explain that a bit further or do you have a guide for setting that up?
I assume there's some kind of userscript?

Cvim with chromium works well for me and supports every site I go to.
>>
I've had Qutebrowser installed for quite a while and it's pretty nice, but ultimately it doesn't offer enough over all the little conveniences in Firefox.

If Firefox 46 fucks over VimFx config file, I'll see what I'll do then.

This does not work for me.
What iam doing wrong here?
It says "username not set"
>>
>>53792532
You store the file with the name of the site, IE: google.com
Inside the gpg file, after the password, you put login:yourusername etc
???
Profit
>>
What makes this better than luakit?
>>
>>53792557
ah finally got it wo work.
thanks.
at first i thought i have to create multiple files, containing username and password.
then i was missing a space between "login:" and my username.

thanks senpai

Why are people on this board this stupid. It uses the fucking web components from the Qt GUI toolkit, of course it supports most webstandards... and with the recent campaign it aims to improve even that. How are you people this badly informed, yet browse a board like /g/ so confidently while spouting uninformed, dumb and harmful bullshit.
