What do you /g/entoomen think of emacs?

bloatware
Can't wait to run it on Windows 10!
Certainly one of the best pieces of software to ever be made. Glorious would be an understatement.

Hi stallman

It does.

Since early this year, or was it late 2015, Dr Stallman is no longer associated with the project.

Point being? He fucking wrote it.

Ahh, there it is.
Thanks for that. It's like waiting for the shoe to drop.
Just a few more months until Emacs 25!
>>53775091
That's at least a year for Debianfags.

I use org-mode daily mostly for note-taking. Txt is so much better than onenote for portability, syncing and bandwidth. Recently switched to spacemacs and after a couple of hours of config-tweaking I had a behavior similar to what I used before.
I just know the basics of emacs, but even so it's still worth it.

Same with me (op). I've used emacs for a couple of weeks, and so far it hasn't let me down
I'm using mostly org-mode
>>53774727
You already can. I use it on XP quite often.
