I'm talking about a real thread watcher. You can search the whole page to find the "see full thread" button, click to it and wait for 3 ducking seconds for the page to open. That's your choice. I'm happy with Clover but I will definitely try the web interface.

This feels like a use case thing. I only use the fast boards where threads don't last long, so a thread watcher is useless to me. Leaving a tab open and checking up on it is good enough. But if you like to go on slow boards a thread watcher is probably great.
