I work in an old 10 plus 3 lower levels story building with no way to monitor temperatures in individual offices. Is there a product where I can set up individual thermometers in each of the floors and have them wirelessly transmit data to a central hub in our main office on the 10th floor so we can monitor temps without having to walk the whole building multiple times daily?
RaspberryPi's raspberrypi's everywhere

does the whole building have wifi?

No. Each floor is a different agency with no communication between the two

This is probably the simplest solution considering the buildings lack of interfloor wifi.

that sucks. lots of inexpensive consumer products *might* work... but going through 13 levels of an old building is probably going to be a problem.
would work much better if you set up a monitoring station on the 5th floor

I'll take a look into this. Even if it transmits to a central hub somewhere in one of the mechanical room, it still beats going floor to floor every couple of hours. Rasberry pi might work, although I'd have to learn it from scratch.
