It won't affect nvidia's sales, because they're both involved in different sides of the market. AMD handles the lowrange/midrange side of the market, which nvidia completely ignores, while nvidia handles the higher end. Nvidia says that their new pascal is gonna start off at a price range of $300/$400 so who knows, they might defeat AMD too.
Polaris 11 should replace Pitcarin aka the 370. 128bit bus in that price range is no big deal.
Polaris 11 was demoed a few months ago and it can run SW:Battlefront at 60FPS steady with vsync, I think that's a note more powerful than Pitcairn

The gpu doesn't need a bigger bus, it's mid range and budget, designed to take out the 950 ti and other pci powered options, while the fury lineup gets more refined as the high end model.
