Hi guys, I want to propose this thread where we could exchange names for lightweight or better programs or apps that are commonly used.
For example I can suggest for windows user:
- Foobar2000 as a main music player.
pros: light, highly customizable
cons: no cool kids graphics (if you are concerned)
But I would also ask you guys if you have a good window alternative to adobe reader since its big and space taking interface is starting to annoy me

WinCDEmu instead of Daemon tools,etc

You don't need either of those on W8 and up.

Can you mount .img, .cue without it?

I recommend PDF-XChange Viewer. Works well, it's lightweight and very fast. Try this one.

Winamp still works on Windows10 (yes I know).

Well tell me what are better alternatives than this ones? VSE is literally the best program for coding in C/C++/Python/C#/F# and there is nothing out there that compare to Microsoft Office (Libre is awful when comparing the Powerpoint and Excel with their offerings).

Libreoffice runs like shit on windows. Especially clac, their excel. It's so buggy and slow.
>OPEN OFFICE
OpenOffice is fucking great. Fast and stable.
I could not uninstall MS office fast enough.

Foxit Business is nice.
It has a slower launch than adobe but it works better and has more features for manipulation of documents. You can actually edit text and images in completed PDF files. Pretty much everything.
