Dear /g/, im moving into ma new university apartment next year (potentially), the apartment is lovely with just been newly referbed etc... however it doesn't not have an Ethernet connection outlet, however the wifi speed is 100mb.
I play many video games, most of them using internet connection (Dota, CSgo, league). will this wifi speed be a problem without an Ethernet connection?

If your desktop has a good wifi adapter then there's no problem, familia.

Is an powerline allowed?
A good wifi card should be fine
Wifi can be a bit more unstable with lots of users, and might add a tiny bit more ping. Probably not horrible though if it's a professionally done wifi network. Wifi at my school is great, even though everyone is on their laptop on a single cisco access point per room.
Getting a strong wifi card with antennas might help get the best out of it.
>go to uni
>play vidya

I guess you have a laptop though. I hope you have an intel card. Whatever you do, just see for yourself how good it is. Depends on so many unknown variables that it is hard to tell in advance.

Get something with good reviews and all the modern highspeed wifi things.
This tp link thing comes up pretty high, costs 50 bucks or so.
