I was looking for desktop speakers quite a long time and I found the Creative T20 as the best, according to many reviews. Bose Companion II are definitely great but I don't think that price-value is as good as Creative. However in the end I went with second-hand hifi amplifier and speakers together for the price lower than Bose and I am more than satisfied

It all depends on what kind of sound you want. What kind of music youre gonna play etc etc.

House or EDM?
>>53700147
you'll much better sound quality using $40-60 headphones than dinky speakers like those, or anything else in the under $150(new) range
speakers don't really surpass headphones until you spend about $300 ($70 used receiver, $230 good quality small headphones)

JBL LSR305s, you can get them used on amazon for even cheaper
Honestly the best speakers are mini-hi-fi systems. Use an AUX cable and you'll be golden.
Thank me later.
just get some lsr 305 and be done with it
