Any notebook recommendations?
Looking for a comfy small notebook for shit posting and retro gaming.
Is the stream 11 any good?
Get a used business laptop. You'd get an i5 instead of a bottom of the barrel Celeron.

Get the e-240 model if you want super long battery life but low performance, E-350 model for good performance but less battery

No the stream laptops are windows machines
>>53698085
No. Don't fall for this meme. Worst fucking purchase I ever made. Unbelievably low performance in windows.

>Windows
Found the problem

Shouldn't have to install linux on something that's advertised to run windows. But I did out of necessity so I didn't feel like killing myself over such a bad purchase.

You get what you pay for.

the keyboard, mousepad, screen and hd on that thing are horrendous. it also costs to much for what it is. if you want new, look into the dell 2-in-1 last one i seen was 440 for the 14" and it had a i5
Retina Macbook® Pro

*40 series are shit
Alright, so ask yourself, what do you want the laptop for? If it's just light internet usage or to use it for school, I'd say the stream 11 would be fine.
I got it for my gf last year so she can use it for school and its been good to her, but she only uses it for that purpose and Netflix. If you'd want to use it for something more powerful than you'd probably want to get something else.
FYI I had to uninstall most of the bloatware it came with, and I think it is flash memory so you can't upgrade it. Some other technical anons could tell you whether you can or not.
