I have an HTC vive for a few week and this video is 100% bs.
The resolution is not good enough for videos, even 4k videos look like shit. And texts are unreadable.
It looks nice in theory and on video, but you certainly can't replace a real monitor

All these things would be far better if they broke into the old engines and added stereoscopic capture. In 2d, it's awesome, but could be better.
Also, I think I remember seeing a demo where you could drag the windows outside of the boundaries of your physical monitors, that's a near must for me. All I want is a headset and a dummy plug, not 5 dummy plugs wasting cycles.
