Tools are technology
I know there really isn't any best tool, the best tool is the correct one for the job etc...
But what tools do you genuinely enjoy using?
Pic related for me, love muh trusty impact driver. It's unfortunate Bosch chose to design it like a fucking meme mouse but it works wonderful and I got a good deal on it.
Would rather have Dewalt desu but I wanted lithium so I would have to buy a whole new kit and my inner Hebrew wouldn't let me pass up the Bosch kit on cyber monday

These nerds have never used a tool in their lives. Your on the wrong board
Try /diy/

Ratchets are my fetish.
Something about the clicking just tickles my autism in the most wonderful way.
You're my favorite tool, anon-kun
Mikita is the best you can get, OP.
You get what you pay for

Not helpful but +1 for impact driver. Head-stripping aside I use it whenever I get an excuse. No idea what the quality difference is but I do love my my DeWalt.

I'm also a ratchet fan. If you enjoy the clicking of it, you'd love using an impact driver, imagine ratchet clicking that shakes your whole body :0

Agreed, but for my needs Bosch works just fine.
If I were a professional carpenter or whatever then ya it would be worth it I suppose, but for a hobbiest Bosch is more then enough.
Hell the porter cable impact I got from a pawn shop worked just fine form weekend projects I just had to replace it because I gave it away to a nephew.

This monster.
It has enough torque to twist your wrist if you aren't careful.
Might sound weird, but I really like reciprocating saws
I enjoy a tool designed only to destroy and I've had tons of fun demo'ing things with a sawzall

> head stripping
Move to Canada and only use Robertson Mon Frere.
But yeah either way I find impacts you can strip less than drills.

Fuck off. This is technology.
/diy/ is dead, anyway.
I buy a $120 nobrand chainsaw and put a $70 top of the line guide bar and a $40 chain on it.
I also use top of the line 2 stroke oil that costs $30 per liter.
Come at me.
I have an 18 volt Milwaukee drill. Normal not impact. I guess the toughest thing I've drilled through is a locked door. It's overkill for everything else around the house.

I like Milwaukee products. I have a giant 1 inch Milwaukee power hammer drill for big masonry holes.

Ive never felt comfortable using a sawzall but I'm happy you're happy

What type of drill do the guys use on your mother's hole?
